Let me tell you about the time I self-medicated and messed up our IVF schedule. You should never,ever do this, which is why I wanted to share what happened to me. It’s nothing super serious, but it kinda messed up our schedule.
Being overweight affects fertility due to hormonal changes inside the body. For women, being overweight lets your body (adipose tissue) produce more estrogen, which prevents regular ovulation. It also increases your chance of being insulin resistant.
